Lately, I have become more intentional about what I eat, a man is not getting any younger and we have to be conscious of what we put into our body. I have learned that eating healthy is not about strict diets or depriving myself of foods that I love.
I have also learnt that it is important to have a balance of protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals in my diet to sustain my body. Every category of food is important and they have their various benefits to the body.

So for people that think skipping meals will help, it actually causes overeating.

Eating different color foods has been said to play a role in ensuring you are getting enough, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, and essential nutrients that you need.

Eating a plate of filled with colours has been very interesting and for me and the amazing part is the amount of nutrient I get from it. Sometimes I just get different colours of fruits a make a tasty plate of fruit salad and I am good to go.
