Why Onion Pink Is The New Trending Colour

What color did Tola pick for her Aso Ebi? I was on the phone asking my friend Bolu what color our friend had picked for her Aso Ebi. Bolu replied, babe its pink oo. Pink ke! I exclaimed. I can’t be buying pink now I have so many pink dresses. It doesn’t make sense to buy another one. Babe, this pink is not like any pink you have, its onion pink Bolu responded with excitement all over.

The excitement in Bolu’s voice got me wondering what shade of pink this will be. I called Tola and ordered for my own asoebi. Tola’s asoebi was definitely a shade of pink I had not seen before and after inquiries, I found out that it was onion pink or as I read online pale pink. Pale pink is a beautiful color that looks amazing as an outfit or on the walls of your home.

So why should you consider onion pink has your go-to color?

The color pink represents caring, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding and is associated with giving and receiving care. Since pink is a combination of red and white, both colors add a little to its characteristics. It gets the lust for action from the red color, and the white color gives it an opportunity to achieve success and insight.

Pale pink gives a feeling of softness and warmth, it also has a now calming effect on our emotional energies and can relieve feelings of anger and aggression. Now imagine walking into a home that’s emanating all of that, sounds amazing right?

You might be wondering how you’ll infuse pink in your home and not look like Barbie, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. When in doubt, white is always the answer and it is perfect with onion pink. To make onion pink stronger and more sophisticated, you can combine it with darker colors like dark blue, dark green, black or grey.
