It is a general purpose primer on exterior and interior of steel, mild steel and metals preferable ferrous, in mildly to moderately corrosive environment.

• USES
Red Oxide has been formulated as a universal anti corrosive and shop primer for ferrous metal exterior and interior application. Red Oxide Primer should under no circumstance be applied to wood, glass, plaster cement rendering, concrete, asbestos and non-ferrous metals. It is not suited for permanent immersion or in association with impressed current. Cathodic protection.
• APPLICATION
Application method : Airless spray, Air spray and Brush/Roller.
Thinner: general purpose thinner
Thinner (max vol.): 5%
Indicated film thickness; dry: 40microns
Indicted film thickness; wet: 75microns
Recoating interval: 5hrs. Minimum
• APPLICATION CONDITIONS
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Service temperatures: maximum, dry: 1000C/2120F.

Theoretical spreading rate: 12m 2 /ltr on a smooth non absorbent surface.
Flash point : 38 0 C

Dry to touch :2-4hrs at 200C
Shelf life : store in cool conditions for not more than 12 months.
