Sandtex Matt is a ready mixed fine textured exterior and interior decorative finish, which is internationally renowned.
HIGH QUALITY EXTERIOR/ INTERIOR WALL PAINT
Its composition consists of a unique terpolymer resin base; mica and a fine granite based aggregate to give long life (behaves like a semi-permeable skin on the wall, allowing the wall to ‘breathe' such that wet surfaces get dry without the power of evaporation and peeling of the paint). It also consists of carefully selected pigments that provide beautiful colours and biocide to limit the propagation of organic growth. Sandtex Matt is long lasting and will neither flake nor peel when correctly applied. Normally, two coats of Sandtex Matt are recommended to achieve the full measure of protection and durability.
Sandtex Matt will be found to be efficiently suitable for building structures exposed to industrial atmospheric pollutions and in coastal/salty or exposed conditions. Sandtex Matt is also ideal for decorating most types of buildings: industrial, civic, business, recreational or domestic.
• COVERING CAPACITY
This will depend upon the texture and suction of the backing. As guide, the theoretical coverage is 50 to 60m 2 /20ltrs at two coats of finished work. When applied by spray, a slight increase in coverage may be achieved (i.e.+10%)

• Interiors, it may be applied to asbestos insulating boards, plaster board and dry lining, and gypsum finishing plaster
• Open textured surfaces, such as Cullamix, Tyrolean, and roughcast should have an undercoat of sanded Cemwash, followed by single coat of Sandtex Matt.
• APPLICATION METHOD
By brush (Lay on but do not brush out) roller or spray. Remove splashes and over spray with water immediately.
• COLOUR RANGE
Off White, Magnolia, Cameo, Sienna, Minimum, Dusky pink, Light cream, Peach, Barley, Pale vermilion, Cinnabar, Etruscan red, Beige, Hazel brown, Midstone, Dark mushroom, Bitter chocolate, Olive drab, Spray green, Leaf green, Lovat green, Silver grey, Pale Grey, Dark grey, Stone grey, Sun yellow, Orpiment, Light blue, Nursery blue, Solent blue.
